The world tells us that we should expect more for ourselves, and we need to put ourselves on this ladder of what we deserve or what we are above doing.  Often, we think so much of ourselves that we think we are above certain duties or jobs, that we are above other groups and we even think of ourselves above others.  

What's standing in your way of serving?

The world gives us excuses that stand in our way of serving.

-I don't have time to help someone.

-I have a job.

-I have a family.

-I have kids in sports, etc.  

The world will also tell you not to help certain people because they made the bed, let them lie in it right. The world would say judge them and let them have it. 

Jesus came and exemplified how we are to act by the way he loved, by the way he served.  We should love and serve others the way Jesus did and not to think we are above doing something for others.

-He touched people and healed them of leprosy, blindness and deafness. H

-He washed his disciples feet.
