Self Control is not exactly a quality that a lot of people want to talk about today. We are not really into discipline. In our society it’s very obvious, we don’t know how to handle anger. What we are going to look at is what God says about how to control it. Anger is not evil in itself. Anger is not sin.
Anger Is A Choice!
In the Book of Proverbs, God gives us several steps to keys, to managing anger.
If You’re Going To Control Your Anger:
1-Resolve to Control It!
2-I Must Restrain My Mouth!
3-I Need to Reflect Before Reacting!
T-Is it Truthful?
H-Is it Helpful?
I-Is it Inspirational?
N-Is it Necessary?
K-Is it Kind?
4-I Need to Release My Anger Appropriately!
5-Return Good for Evil!
6-We Must Ask God For Help!
Wrong Ways To Deal With Anger:
1-Don’t Suppress Your Anger
2-Don’t Repress Your Anger
3-Don’t Express Anger in Inappropriate Ways, Instead Confess It!
What You Say, Shows What Is On The Inside!
