Godly Habits That Help Me Hold On In Hard Times
No one escapes hard times. One of most repeated phrases of the New Testament is keep on keeping on. Sometimes that’s hard.
Following Christ is not a single step. It’s a journey of faith. It requires us putting on step in front of the other.
How do you just hold on and keep on keeping on?
There are some habits that you can learn that will make the rough patches in your life a lot more manageable.
1. Keep My Life Clean - When you go through life with a clear conscience, you have more power, more confidence. Nothing drains us like guilt, regret, shame or hiding something that you feel bad about or guilty about.
2. I Keep My Eyes Open - Always be looking to see what God is doing and ask Him to let you in on it. We seek the lost to come to Christ.
We all learn by imitation, but you got to keep your eyes open. God resists the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.
