Finding Strength To Go When I’m Emotionally Worn Out

You need is a strategy to recharge your spiritual and emotional battery and to be in the place the Lord desires for you to be. There are times in your life when you need to keep going and your mind and emotions have already stopped.

Two examples in scripture of determination to keep going = Jesus and Paul

A) The Determination of Jesus to Keep Going In Spite of Opposition!

B) Paul Was Determined To Keep Going In spite of Pain!

4 Solutions From God’s Word About How To Keep Going When You Feel Like Giving Up:

Where Do I Get The Strength To Keep Going?

1. Honestly Tell God What I Am Feeling!

A) God Already Knows Every Emotion I Feel!

B) God Understands My Feelings Better Than I Do!

C) God Loves To Listen To You!

2. You Humbly Ask God For Strength!

3. Gratefully, Thank God For All That’s Good Despite All That’s Bad!

We can’t prevent some things from happening to us. But we can control our Character and our Attitude in how we deal with them.

4. Constantly Keep God As My Focus!

When I feel like giving up, When I am exhausted...I have to constantly keep God as my focus.  God must stay the central focus of my life.

The last reason we don’t give up, and there are many more, is that we are keeping our eyes fixed on God! We are focused on God and not our problems!

WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT / Sit down for 5 minutes each day and ask yourself. What am I grateful for? Only list 4 or 5 things each day. And all day, focus on being grateful for those things you have listed.
