God is love, and since you were made in his image, you were made to be loved, and you were made to give love.

God uses family terms in the Bible to express spiritual truths. For instance, God is called  “Our Father”. We are called His Children when we are born into God’s family through faith in Christ. 

What is a family for?

There is a 3-phase goal for every family. You want to move your kids from parental control to self-control then on to God's control (spiritual control) as they grow up into teens and adults.

3. The Family Is A Launch Pad For Ministry!

We Have A Responsibility To Kids Without A Family!

A. God Is Passionately Concerned For Orphans!

B. What Our Heavenly Father Does For Us, He Expects Us To Do For The Fatherless!

Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.
