Envy is dangerous to the soul because it doesn’t leave quickly. Envy is when you have something that you feel like you deserve more than someone else. 

Envy can create rivals. Envy makes people do evil things.

Envy can have a very negative impact in our lives.

Envy keeps current and potential relationships from growing.

Envy creates inaccurate judgements of other people.

Envy hurts innocent people.

Envy reveals the condition of your heart.

Envy can lead to sin and serious consequences.

Envy diminishes the enjoyment of life.

Envy chips away and destroys the work of God in your life.

How do we get envy under control and walk with God?

1-I must acknowledge my envy. What am I doing in my life right now that is motivated by desire to want to have people to envy me?

2-Apologize to God.

What can you do this week to replace envy with a worship action to God?

3-Celebrate Others. Do this even when you don’t feel like it. Practice encouragement. Do this to someone’s face and behind their back. Celebrating others brings fullness to your life.
